Pittsburgh Penguins Announce 2025-26 Season Schedule
The Pittsburgh Penguins have unveiled their complete schedule for the 2025-26 NHL season. The season kicks off on October 7 with an away game against the New York Rangers, followed by the home opener on October 9 against the New York Islanders. Notably, the Penguins will return to Stockholm, Sweden, for two games against the Nashville Predators on November 14 and 16 as part of the Global Series.
During the season, there will be a break for the Winter Olympics in Italy, during which Penguins captain Sidney Crosby will represent Team Canada. The Penguins? schedule features a game on February 5 against Buffalo, followed by a break until February 26, when they play at home against New Jersey. March will be particularly busy with 17 games, including a lengthy road trip and a five-game homestand starting December 9. The Penguins will also visit California early in the season, playing against Anaheim, Los Angeles, and San Jose. The season wraps up on April 14 with a matchup in St. Louis, and they will face the two-time defending champions, the Florida Panthers, on October 23.
